So, in order to make up for missed blogs, today you all receive  a double shot of my sarcastic rantings. Joy! :D
I'd like to just take a moment to describe just how virulently i disagree with almost everything awful said (though hypothetically) about books and reading in the excerpt  from "Everything bad is good for you". i understand what the author was trying to accomplish, but books are some of my best friends and he said some hurtful things.
I enjoyed the over all tone of the rest of the article and i feel the author made good points on both sides. though i feel like referencing Dr. Spok for childcare leads to everything being croup.

Well, i'm certainly awful at blog related things this semester. Anyway, i wanted to, if i could talk about the Article "Pearls before breakfast that we read last week in class. I enjoyed the subject matter immensely, but found the overall tone to be a bit patronizing. How dare busy people not stop and give money to this magnificent street musician we have for you. oh you're too busy going to work in our failing economy/ how uneducated you are!
Other than the tone i thought it was well written, but i'm a sucker for needlessly verbose explanations of things. what can i say?
